‘The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives, and release from darkness for the prisoners.‘(Luke 4:18,19)
In His life and through His death and resurrection, Jesus brought these words of Isaiah to fulfilment. He preached about the Kingdom, healed the sick and delivered those who were oppressed. Towards the end of His life He said these remarkable words, ‘I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.’ (John 14:12.)
There will be an opportunity for anyone who has a desire to help others in this way to attend a Prayer Ministry course on two successive Saturdays. There will be a mix of teaching and discussion, and of receiving prayer and of praying with others. There will be no demands made on you so if you would like to explore this aspect of ministry please come along.
When & Where

Over the past year more than sixty people, thirsty to hear more consistently from God, have come to this 3 week seminar. Each seminar has been lively with anticipation and has become an oasis of refreshment and deepening relationships.
As we have shared experiences of hearing God talk to us, and as we have learned more about how amazingly God has equipped us by His Spirit in
our spirits, we have had ‘the eyes of our hearts’ opened even more to seeing and hearing from God.
Out of such a two way relationship insights come to us personally for healing of our hearts: a process which draws us closer to the One who has the answers, and through Whom we can move into greater freedom. We also reflect on how the Holy Spirit comes upon us to enable us to be witnesses, and how He guides us into God’s purpose for our lives as individuals. As we abide in Jesus, Jesus abiding in us, and listen for and respond to His insights, we will be about our Father’s business just as Jesus was.
